Designer Anna Karlin has added her unique style to a handful of the Lower East Side apartments for sale at One Manhattan Square. “One Manhattan Square is a vertical village in itself,” says Karlin. “So we developed these distinct characters that would populate it. They are based on people we all have in our lives: the fabulous single man with epic taste, the design student with a well-curated eye, and the couple whose children have finally left home, so they can have a beautiful pied-à-terre.” Based on these and other character archetypes, like “The Luxe Family,” “The Urban Gardener,” and “The Glamorous Couple,” Karlin has created elegant model apartment vignettes reflecting those personalities, with whimsical accents like bold botanical wallpaper, art-deco credenzas, barrel chairs, chinoiserie planters, and more.
