Extell Development Company has just revealed new photos of the massive outdoor space at One Manhattan Square. The 45,000-square-foot West 8 Landscape Urban Design & Landscape Architecture-designed green space, which accounts for less than half of One Manhattan Square’s 100,000 square feet of total amenities, offers residents of the building’s Lower East Side condos access to alfresco dining areas, a Japanese-inspired tea pavilion, an adult treehouse, a stargazing observatory, a covered dog run, a playground, a putting green, a herb kitchen, and ping pong tables, among other enjoyable diversions. “These spaces were designed to serve as a private oasis within our community so that residents can enjoy their own private natural surroundings within the city,” says Extell’s Alan Oppenheimer.
